Beer seba group of Institutions had been running since 2009 having registered office at A-2/16, Chhinga Veng, Opposite KC Market Building, Aizawl, Mizoram – 796001. It has Diploma in Paramedical courses, Diploma in Hotel management, Drug Pharmacy. It provides Job placement and assistance to its students and other candidates and had placed over 2000+ candidates within India and Abroad.
It has a well equipped medical Laboratory for practical with running xray machine. It gives the best training and secure the highest rank holder and highest pass percentage for the last 14 board exams. It has about 200 Paramedical students and 60 students for Hotel management.
Beer –Seba Group of Institution is established to impart quality education in different streams to students with different potentialities. It was established on 10th October 2010, having its motto “Fountaine de La Saggese” derived from a French word which means “Fountain of Wisdom”. To start with, it had Hospitality Management specialty in Food and Beverages Services and has opened two more courses in Paramedical, i.e.; Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) and Diploma in Radiology Imaging Technology (DRIT) in the year 2012. It is the endeavor of the academy to provide these courses at an affordable cost while not being charitable in nature but to provide standard quality education. The vision of the academy is to show the right path and direction to the youths in deciding their career while developing their personality and skills; making them eligible not only in their respective fields but also for all kinds of walks. Taking into concern about the problems of unemployment in Mizoram, the need of our youths is felt and so the Institution is striving to achieve all round development for the students in the field of “Education”; so that each of the students passing out from the Institution would need not wait for job opportunities but find themselves awaited by such prospects.

INTRODUCTION TO GENERAL DUTY ASSISTANT SECTOR
The General Duty Assistant sector provides specialized healthcare and support services to older adults, addressing their unique needs and promoting healthy aging. With the elderly population growing rapidly, the demand for skilled caregivers and geriatric care professionals is increasing.
Need for Skilled Caregivers
There is a significant shortage of skilled caregivers in the general duty assistant sector, leading to a gap in quality care and support services for older adults. The proposed course aims to address this gap by providing training and certification to aspiring caregivers.
Proposed Course Objectives
1. Equip caregivers with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high quality care to older adults.
2. Enhance caregivers’ understanding of general duty assistant care principles, practices, and protocols.
3. Foster empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills in caregivers.
Expected Outcomes
1. Trained caregivers will be able to provide person-centered care to older adults, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
2. Caregivers will be equipped to handle challenging situations and behaviors associated with aging.
3. Graduates will be eligible for certification and employment in general duty assistant care settings.
